Borderlands 3 tannis siren, I tannis like hunt Borderlands guy who siren fantage
Tannis most likely inherited her siren powers from Angel, after Angel died. Tannis has remarked that she is unsure of how it happened. So it is both possible that Angel intentionally passed on her powers to Tannis or that Tannis hit the cosmic jackpot in acquiring her powers.
Sirens are a mainstay and play a major role in Borderlands 3as not only the main antagonists are Sirens, but the powers of Lilith, the transference ability, and more all come up to some degree. Lore-wise, they've been around for quite some time, meaning there's likely been hundreds, if not thousands, of Sirens in the Borderlands universe over the years, with their powers either being transferred selectively or randomly by death over the ages. While the core details of Sirens are well-known, that they each feature unique "Phase" powers, have tattoos and can manifest wings, and are somehow connected to Eridium, Eridians, and the Vaults, there's still a ton of questions by the end of Borderlands 3.

But Borderlands has had some good story beats over the years, and Borderlands 2 in particular created an iconic gaming villain in the form of Handsome Jack.
So I wanted to focus on some of the bigger story beats of Borderlands 3 and whether they worked or not. So again, spoilers follow. I could have seen something working here with a storyline that has Troy turning against Tyreen, as a rift between the two siblings is heavily hinted at throughout the game.
I was actually pleasantly surprised with a lot of the new characters introduced in the game, as Borderlands is a series that likes to rely on old favorites returning. The best of the bunch?
Possibly even more than Tina. Wainwright Jakobs — I really liked him.

His relationship with Sir Hammerlock is pretty cute, and he makes the entire storyline of Eden-6 worthwhile. Grouse and Sparrow — These two, once you get to the final planet, are pretty fun guides for the last batch of side missions, and their last, post-campaign mission is one of the most touching in the game. I do think the most haunting death in the entire series is still Bloodwing, however. This was just sort of an odd one.

In the course of the game we learn that this entire time, Tannis has been a Siren. The real ending, not the really obvious fakeout ending before that though I did think the game making you say goodbye to every crew member was a nice touch when there was still like five more hours of campaign. Clearly the door is left open for Lilith to return in some capacity.
My guess is probably not in DLC, but in the future of the series as a whole? Sure, why not. Siren powers are too much of a deus ex machina in this series. I did enjoy the legendary chest she left me though.
A seventh siren?
So yeah, I liked the game, but I was just so-so on the story. For every dramatic moment that has impact, another one lacks weight.
